• Division engineer, U.S. Missouri River Engineer Division in Omaha, Nebraska and was responsible for all civil and construction in the Missouri River Basin which runs from the Great Lakes to the Rocky Mountains and Denver to St Louis. 1992-1994
• Engineering Officer. Served in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in engineering units in Saudi Arabia, Germany, Korea, Vietnam and the United Stated. 1966-1994
• District engineer, U.S. Fort Worth Engineer District in Fort Worth, Texas and was responsible for civil and construction in Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico. 1987-1989
• Deputy district engineer, U.S. Al Batin Engineer District that was responsible for constructing King Khalid City in northeast Saudi Arabia. 1983-1985
